September gas futures Onished with a 5.4c gain Monday to $8.283 per million Btu but not before plummeting to $7.753 in the morning session. The recovery apparently stemmed from a news “blip” that production at Freeport LNG would resume in October. “But what the blip failed to say is they’re only partially coming back ... by a third of the volumes. The rest will be coming back by January, ” Gelber & Associates analyst Alan Lammey told Energy Intelligence.
