A liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier equipped with a new engine-control system design to optimise engine operation has completed gas trials in Korea. Under construction by Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) at the time of writing, the carrier is powered by MAN Energy Solutions' (MAN) B&W ME-GA dual-fuel engines capable of running on fuel oil and LNG.
