Consumers were still feathering their nests through most of last year as rising vaccination rates ran up against outbreaks of new Covid-19 variants in the summer and late fall. It was a strong year for home textiles overall and another better-than-usual year for utility bedding. The aggregated category generated a healthy 6.0 increase in 2021 on top of a 26.6 spike in 2020 sales, adding more than $240 million in dollar volume last year.
