Peatland partnership aims to restore 1,000 hectares of 'heavily-degraded' bog

A new partnership has been launched to restore over 1,000 hectares of "heavily-degraded" peat bog across ten sites in the north west of England, with the hope that the locations will eventually sequester over 8,000 tonnes of C02 from the atmosphere every year.
