A seminar on "Water and Climate Change" was organized by the IRMA Water Centre and Verghese Kurien Centre of Excellence (VKCoE) in hybrid mode on the occasion of the World Water Day on March 22, 2022. The seminar began with garlanding of Dr. Verghese Kurien by the distinguished guests. Prof. Harekrishna Misra, Director-in-charge, IRMA, delivered the welcome address, stressing on the need for dedicated research and knowledge dissemination in the areas of water scarcity and water management. Prof. Uday Shankar Saha, RBI Chair and Convenor, IRMA Water Centre, briefly introduced the centre and presented a brief on the activities and collaborations of the IRMA Water Centre. During the event, IRMA Water Centre webpage was launched.
