摘要

The mechanical properties of metallic materials change significantly after shock wave loading. In this paper, universal testing machine is used to perform quasi-static reload compression tests on the Ti-6Al-3Nb-2Zr-1Mo titanium alloy shocked by light gas gun to explore the changes of mechanical properties and microstructure. The results show that the yield strength of Ti6321 alloy after shocked is higher than the original sample, whereas the fracture strain is significantly reduced. The Ti6321 alloy shows an impact strengthening effect. EBSD results indicate that the density of geometrically necessary dislocations and twins both increase and contribute to the deformation.
