Antigenic properties of a water soluble fraction of sheep erythrocytes

AbstractA technique for preparing soluble extracts of sheep erythrocytes is described. A fraction thereof is fully immunogenic and inhibits antibody formed by spleen cells from only those mice immunized with sheep red blood cells, but not from those which received extracts of horse red blood cells.The specificity of this fraction varies from one sheep to another.
