Global jet fuel supplies are likely to be tight this quarter, owing to refnery maintenance in the Mideast Gulf and low refnery yields, as demand steadily recovers. Proftability of producing jet fuel in Europe has recovered substantially in recent weeks, with northwest European-deliv- ered cargo premiums to North Sea Dated averaging around $15/ bl in January so far, up from $6.49/bl across last year.
