Every year at the end of April I am surprised to see flowers on one of my Cones. Of course it is the same Cono, namely C.bolusiae ssp. primavemum, I got it from Chris Rodgerson twenty-five years ago, and it has been surprising me every year since. Myplant is the one that has wMfc petals and pink tips. Of course its name gives it away. “Primavemum” means “first in spring”; Steve Hammer named it with Ms ciistomaty flair for the apposite and memorable. By the way (5th lime) my C.chrisocruxum plants are in bloom.
