Caerdav is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year - but it is perhaps only in the past few years, and even the past few months, that the company has really soared to new heights. Given that legendary Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson is Caerdav's owner and chairman, and a key driving force, you could say that the company is - in line with one of the band's albums - truly entering a Brave New World. The independent Wales, UK-based MRO specialises in maintaining the A320 and 737 families of aircraft, but also has pilot training, consultancy and storage capabilities. The company began life as Cardiff Aviation, but in 2019 rebranded to Caerdav and underwent a turnaround phase overseen by group CEO Joachim Jones that will be completed in November 2022.
