A group of Democratic lawmakers is pushing the Biden administration to codify its pledge to end public fi nancing for fossil fuel projects overseas. The US was one of 39 countries and international fi nancial institutions that signed a 2021 pledge to end new overseas fi nancing for fossil fuel projects by the end of 2022.
