Emergency brakes have been applied to investments in the textile industry. Among other things, that is particularly true in the case of the man-made fiber industry. Investment in fixed assets in the textile industry was 4.409 billion RMB in the first quarter. That shows an increase of 13.1% from the year-ago level.
