JCPenney's newest senior hire is responsible for defining corporate strategy and exploring strategic partnerships, among other duties. Keith Melker joined the company last month as chief transformation and strategy officer, reporting to Marc Rosen, CEO. Melker is charged with developing and overseeing JCPenney's Transformation office. Melker most recently served as CEO for Wehner Multifamily, a Texas-based property management company. Prior to that, he was chief strategy officer for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He also has over a decade of experience supporting companies during his time at Boston Consulting Group, where he served as managing director and partner.
