摘要

To improve the hardness and wear resistance, Fe-based amorphous alloy coatings were synthesized on 304 stainless steel substrates by plasma spraying. The plasma spraying current was varied, and the plasma sprayed samples were laser-remelted. The effects of varying plasma current and laser remelting on the microstructure, microhardness, and wear resistance were systematically studied. Results showed that the coating fabricated at 400 A current offers the best interfacial and mechanical properties. Laser remelting treatment eliminates the presence of defects such as pores in the plasma sprayed layer. Moreover, the reciprocating friction test showed that the friction coefficient and wear rate of the composite coating decrease by 7.1% and 62.5%, respectively.
