Outlook of Major Apparel Exporting Countries of Asia

Total global apparel exports have grown by over 100% during the last 15 years from US108 billion in 1990 to US258 billion in 2004,out of which Asia accounted for around 47%.Eight countries(namely Bangladesh,China,India,Indonesia,Pakistan,Sri Lanka,Thailand and Vietnam)accounted for US92 billion or around 80% of Asian apparel exports in 2004.
