摘要

It is said that there are over 340 shopping streets in Japan named after "Ginza," a shopping street representing Japanese commerce. The Ginza Street Association, the shopping association that has supported the shopping district, is one of the oldest shopping associations in Japan and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019. As a shopping district that has played a central role in modern Japanese commercial activities while also reflecting history, Ginza has a vibrant atmosphere in the city - at once lending the streets a dignified personality and signaling a lively commercial city. It is a city with the ambiguity of a contradictory character, combining these two different atmospheres.
