The renewable natural gas (RNG) industry is gearing up for an expected growth spurt in demand starting next year as heavy dutyvehicle fl eets look to switch their engines over from diesel to natural gas. The increase will be driven largely by the anticipated rollout of Cummins’ new 15-liter natural gas engine, the type favored bycommercial long-haul fl eets, as well as by federal and state policies that encourage the adoption of lower-carbon fuels.
