LafargeHolcim acquires Firestone Building Products

Zug, Switzerland-based LafargeHolcim Ltd. announced that its Chicago-based Holcim Participations Inc. subsidiary has successfully completed the acquisition of Nashville, Tenn.-based Firestone Building Products Co. Inc., following all regulatory approvals. The transaction closed earlier than expected due to smooth collaboration with Bridgestone and all 1,900 employees will be joining LafargeHolcim.
