In his earliest memories, Rodney Bierhuizen recalls having an affinity for plant life and growing things.“I was, maybe, in grade three. I remember, my dad had a few spider plants and I rooted 1,000 cuttings, grew them and then he went and sold them for me,” Bierhuizen said. “There was always a passion there for, you know, being like my dad.”
