The number of UK fuel stations without fuel due to delivery shortages and panic buying has fallen to about 37%, the UK’s Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) said Sept. 28, down from around two-thirds of sites at the weekend. The PRA, which represents 65% of UK forecourts, on the weekend said two-thirds of its nearly 5,500 independent member sites were out of fuel after concerns of a lack of tanker drivers to fully restock all fuel stations triggered panic buying.
