Efficacy of Natural Products on Sucking Pests of Okra

Efficacy of a biopesticide and five natural products comprising azadirachtin, cow urine, darekastra, jeevamrit, vermiwash and tamarlassi were evaluated against sucking pests in okra at the CSK HPKV, Palampur during kharif, 2018. The aphid and jassid incidence was observed to undergo reduction with sprays and reached to 61.55 and 62.95%, respectively in azadirachtin after fifth spray. Darekastra, jeevamrit and vermiwash were moderately effective, with the least effective one being cow urine. The fruityield and incremental cost benefit ratio was 1: 5.72 in azadirachtin (59.63 q/ ha).
