The medical industry is rapidly approaching a two-year milestone that nobody will be celebrating.The Covid-19 outbreak,first detected in late 2019,has spread across borders at such a rapid rate that healthcare systems and supply chains are still struggling to catch up.Global demand for oxygen therapy and medical gas equipment reached unprecedented levels,a trend that has continued following the rebound of national economies in recent months as countries begin to relax lockdown measures,increased social activity has occurred which has spurred a further wave of infections and patient hospitalisations.
