Crude oil throughput on Enbridge’s Mainline pipeline system was up 4% in the first quarter of 2023 with those volumes anticipated to be trending higher into the summer in response to market demand, CEO Greg Ebel said May 5. In Q1, 2023 the pipeline shipped 3.120 million b/d, compared with 3.004 million b/d in the same quarter the prior year, Ebel said on an earnings call.
