Small operator ideals on the Schlumprecht and Schreier spaces

We present a criterion for operators on a Banach space Xto generate distinct operator ideals in the algebra B(X) of bounded linear operators on X. We show that there are exactly 2(c) distinct small closed operator ideals on the Schlumprecht space and on any Schreier space of finite order. (C) 2021 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
