This paper presents design and testing of an efficient switched-mode power supply (SMPS) with load in accordance with IEC 61000-4-11 standard. This paper aims to design and present a SMPS that works efficiently under different electrical conditions. In this work, the designed SMPS provides multiple constant DC voltages of 5 V, 12 V and 15 V with overload protection for a wide range of AC input (80-300 VAC). Investigation of various voltage dips ranging from 0 to 80% in accordance with IEC 61000-4-11 standard is also presented. To confirm the validity of proposed design, various experimental results are obtained using programmable AC source, digital multimeter, digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) and digital power meter. The results show an efficiency of more than 90% and high-power factor of 0.9. The maximum expanded uncertainty is found to be +/- 0.02 V at coverage factor k = 2.07 for approx. 95% confidence level.
