Despite decades of warnings, the majority of the world has only recently become truly aware of the dangers of climate change. e same can also be said for the concrete industry, especially when it comes to safety regulations. To put it bluntly, virtually every existing structure in australia (and across the globe) that has concrete in its make-up is outdated. The reason for this is a simple one: legislation surrounding the use of concrete is based on testing designed within certain parameters. Climate change has caused extremes well outside of those, and with it comes a whole new breed of challenges.
