Duke Energy Indiana LLC is seeking proposals for up to 2.4 GW of power resources comprising up to 1.1 GW of intermittent renewable generation and up to 1.3 GW of non-intermittent generation. Proposals can be in the form of power purchase agreements, projects built by a developer and then transferred to Duke Energy or the purchases of existing facilities, according to a Feb. 17 news release. The bids should be from resources that are deliverable to the Midcontinent ISO Zone 6, with an exception for out-of-state wind. Bids can also include existing generation resources or proposed resources with an in-service date of no later than June 1, 2027.
