摘要

The critical current density (J_c) of the current driven domain wall (DW) of ferri-magnetic wire using rare earth transition metal (RE-TM) is lower than that of ferro-magnetic wire. Furthermore, the current driven domain wall moving speed of ferri-magnetic wire is also faster than that of ferro-magnetic wire. This is considered to be caused by the fact that the sublattice magnetizations of RE- and TM are opposite each other. To reduce the production cost of magnetic wire, we propose a nano-imprint magnetic wire fabrication method. This process is similar to that of manufacturing inexpensive optical disks using a plastic substrate, and the J_c of the magnetic wire fabricated by this method is much smaller than that of a conventional magnetic wire with Si substrate.
