Enbridge's 3.1mn b/d Mainline crude export system flowed 7pc more crude from Canada to the US midcontinent in 2022 thanks to the Line 3 replacement project, but even that is now reaching capacity. “Our Mainline is running full,” said Enbridge chief executive Greg Ebel on 10 February, with the system averaging 3mn b/d across 2022 and 3.1mn b/d in the fourth quarter.
