摘要

INDIA'S state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has launched the tender process for a sizeable contract comprising additional offshore infrastructure required for a major west coast asset. Two people familiar with the bid process told Upstream that ONGC recently issued bid documents for the offshore engineering, procurement and construction package on its DSF-Ⅱ & MBOSN-2005/I blocks. The work involves multiple offshore platforms and subsea pipeline segments and could be worth potentially up to $600 million, one person said. A second source suggested that the Mumbai offshore project is one of the most crucial EPC tenders to be offered by ONGC this year, in addition to the ongoing bid process for its Daman upside gas project. ONGC has ambitious plans and recently unveiled a three-year drive on several projects worth at least $7.3 billion, involving key developments offshore India's east and west coasts. The offshore field being targeted by ONGC in the most recent tender lies in water depths ranging from 16 to 80 metres and is located close to some of the company's key producing assets on the west coast, another person suggested.
