Energy strategy aims for domestic supply of low carbon energy

Up to 95 per cent of the UK's electricity supply will come from low-carbon sources following the announcement of the government's much anticipated energy strategy. In it, the government has set out how the UK will accelerate the deployment of wind, new nuclear, solar and hydrogen, whilst supporting the production of domestic oil and gas in the nearer term.
