Infineon Technologies and Hon Hai Technology (Foxconn) intend to enter into a long-term partnership in the field of electric vehicles. The agreement focuses on silicon carbide (SiC) developments. According to the memorandum of understanding, both companies intend to cooperate in the implementation of SiC technologies in high-performance applications in the automotive sector: for example in traction inverters, onboard chargers, and DC-DC converters.
