May 1 marked PaintCare's one-year anniversary of program operations in New York State. PaintCare—a paint recycling program created by the American Coatings Association—has been focused on expanding the number of paint drop-off opportunities and consumer education efforts, which has culminated in the helps increase recycling convenience, and in fact, more than 90% of New York residents currently live within 15 miles of a drop-off site.
