Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) and Covestro are set to hold a second round of face-to-face negotiations as early as next week about Adnoc's takeover offer for the German specialty chemicals maker, a source close to the matter said. The two companies held their first in-person meeting late last week after signing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), the source said. Adnoc previously pledged to raise its takeover offer to 60 euros per share if the Leverkusen-based maker of polyurethane and polycarbonate raw materials would come to the negotiating table.
