Manganese ore and ferroalloy prices have fallen again this month. Demand has been weaker in China due to the seasonal slowdown in construction resulting in lower silicomanganese demand. In Europe and N America, the recovery in steel production has been slow, and while most steel plants have ample cover against existing contracts, some spot orders have revealed how keen ferroalloys suppliers are to sell.
