Australia’s crude oil and condensate exports dipped 17% on the year and 11% on the month to 8.47 million barrels in June, data released by the Australian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water showed Aug. 15. Thailand took over as its top export destination at 2.37 million barrels of crude and condensate, a 50% surge from May, while exports to South Korea resumed with 1.83 million barrels following a month-long hiatus, the data showed.
