The FlourWorld Museum in Wittenburg illuminates a further chapter in human history, opening a new room dedicated to the Industrial Revolution. An epoch that allowed the world population to grow, while at the same time creating new technical solutionsto provide for it. The modern industrial milling presentation was conceived and designed by museum curator Dr. Oliver Seifert, in cooperation with Buhler Group, a worldleading Swiss technology leader in grain processing, and Muhlenchemie GmbH & Co. KG. An audiovisual installation and working models of an optical sorter, roller mill and plansifter show interested visitors the individual steps in the industrial production of flour, the worldwide staple food.
