Comprehensive therapy concepts a central figure in this project is Helga Keil-Bastendorff, founder of the Keil therapy insti-tute and chair of the board of the Lebenswerk Foundation, which was founded in 2006. The main purpose of the institute is to pro-vide support for and cater to the needs of young people with disa-bilities, regardless of their age and the severity of their disability. It works inclusively: the wide-ranging engagement with disadvantaged children and adolescents up to young adults integrates elements such as working with animals and organic farming in the therapy and care concepts. Some are given a place to live, while others vis-it the facility daily. In the course of reorganising Rosenhügel Hospital in 2016, the City of Vienna offered to provide a new site for the Keil Institute there. However, Helga Keil-Bastendorff decided differ-ently, and made her property near G?nserndorf, where horses were already kept and there is an organic farm, available for the project.
