UK prices rise on cold snap

The UK’s NBP near-curve contracts weakened in the first half of February on forecasts for mild weather. But near-curve prices made back their losses by the end of the month on forecasts for a cold start to March. The highest LNG receipts since November limited some of the upside. Rising oil prices near the end of the month limited the fall in forward contracts.
