Albion is a traditional style narrowboat which attracts many admiring glances wherever she goes. The stylish Graham Reeves shell has been fitted out by the first owners to a good professional standard and has been well maintained throughout her life. The fore cabin, which serves as a gas locker, and the cloth covered imitation hold, fitted out as a cosy saloon, not only makes Albion a great looking boat but makes the most of the available cabin space. The interior fit out includes a Boatman's cabin with the scumbled panels and painted framing continuing throughout the rest of the cabin, and is complete with a solid fuel range, table cupboard and cross bed double. The galley has the usual gas cooking and 12V fridge with ample cupboard space. Propulsion is by a vintage Lister FR2 in its own dedicated room. Cabin warmth, when not wanting to light the range, is provided by a diesel fired central heating system.
