The genus Caloboreaphilus Zerche, 1990 (Omaliinae: Coryphiini) was originally described based on the holotype of C. hammondi Zerche, 1990 from Shaanxi (Zerche 1990). Additional new species of the genus was described by Shavrin & Smetana (2020) from Sichuan. Caloboreaphilus can be distinguished from other genera of the subtribe Boreaphilina Zerche, 1990 by the short antennomeres 6-10, the small, transverse pronotum with coarsely crenulated lateral margin, and other external and internal morphological features (Zerche 1990, Shavrin & Smetana 2020). During the study of Omaliinae material from the collection of my colleague M. Schülke (Berlin), I found three specimens from Gansu belonging to a third, undescribed species of the genus. The description of this species is provided in the present study. All three species of Caloborepahilus are known from China (Fig. 8).
