Lukoil plans to relaunch the delayed coker at its 365,000 b/d Nizhny Novgorod refinery at the end of this month. Refinery operations are now back to normal, except for the 6,030 t/d delayed coker, following a fire at the refinery on 7 February, which was extinguished on the same day. Higher Nizhny Novgorod fuel oil output will continue until the coker restarts and production of petroleum coke resumes next month.
