Liquid Chromatographic Analysis of Tryptophan and Serotonin Metabolites. Comparison of UV, Electrochemical and Spectrofluorimetric Detection

Tryptophan and five of its indolic metabolites have been separated by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography. The isocratic chromatographic system consisted of a column (20 × 0.46 cm i.d.) packed with RSil C18 HL5 and a methanol/NaClO4O.2 M-HClO4(pH 1.4) mobile phase.
