A 4-bit digital to analog circuit converter using quantum dot semiconductor optical amplifier assisted Mach-Zehnder interferometer (QDSOA-MZI) has been proposed in this paper. The design has 1:1 couplers and MZIs. Digital signals are applied as control signals of this interferometric switch. This design can be easily extended up to n-bit by adding couplers and MZI switches. This design can operate 1 Tb/s which is numerically simulated. We have found absolute error 0.125, dynamic range 11.76 dB and extension ratio similar to 10 dB.
