Australia's Woodside Energy has made an equity investment in Bangalore-based start-up String Bio, which plans to use GHG like methane and CO2 to make animal feed and biodegradable polymers. Woodside's $9.9 million investment accounts for nearly half of the $20 million the Indian biotech Orm raised in a recently closed Series B Onancing round, but the size of Woodside's equity stake in the company was not immediately clear.
