Lanthanum-doped nanoflower-like tin dioxide was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method and composited carbon nanotubes (La-SnO2 NF/CNTs), then it was loaded onto glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to electrochemically detect bisphenol A (BPA). The experimental results show that La-SnO2 NF/CNTs/GCE has excellent electrochemical performance, and linear range, detection limit and quantification limit are 0.02 similar to 10 mu mol/L, 1.02 nmol/L and 0.02 mu mol/L respectively. The precision and accuracy of this method are verified by intra-day and inter-day. Finally, La-SnO2 NF/CNTs/GCE was further applied to determine BPA in actual water samples and recovery rate was 96 % similar to 104 %, suggesting it has huge potential in BPA determination.
