Optimal measurement preserving map for quantum state estimation and hypothesis testing

In this work we first introduce a notion of optimal decision preserving map for classical statistical decision theory, which is defined by a channel preserving an optimal statistical decision. We then generalize this concept to the quantum statistical decision theory. We derive a necessary and sufficient condition for optimal measurement preserving quantum map for quantum hypothesis testing. We also discuss optimal measurement preserving conditions for quantum state estimation.
