ULSD led the petroleum futures complex lower Jan. 3 as rising COVD-19 cases in China fed into recessionary, and thus lower demand, outlooks. NYMEX front-month ULSD fell 20.85 cents to settle at $3.0865/gal, while front-month RBOB fell 11.71 cents to settle at $2.3612/gal. NYMEX front-month crude futures fell $3.33 to settle at $76.93/b, while ICE front-month Brent settled at $82.10/b, down $3.81.
