How has Covid-19 driven innovation in materials for PPE? AP: There have been two key developments. One, the supply chain has become more decentralised, resilient and agile. Two, materials and PPE have been redesigned to optimise worker protection and comfort. Demand for PPE has been at an all-time high during the pandemic. Producers like DuPont have had to think creatively to address shortages and develop a more efficient supply chain.
