Atmospheric Emissions in the Wet Quenching of Coke by Biochemically Treated Wastewater

Abstract The atmospheric emissions in the wet quenching of coke using water with different pollutant levels are studied at an industrial quenching tower. Emissions data for coke quenching are obtained in relation to the following pollutants: phenols, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen cyanide.
